The Thomas Merton Center Digital Collections website was made possible through a generous gift from the Zarrella family, who also donated the Joseph Zarrella Collection of Dorothy Day and Catholic Worker materials. The Merton Center is also indebted to the work of Danielle Spalenka, Project Archivist, and the Bellarmine University office of Information Technology. The collection of Catholic Worker newspapers, primarily from the Merton Center collection with suplements from Saint Meinrad Archabbey Library, were scanned and described by Abigail Dunn.
For a more complete collection of newspapers of The Catholic Worker with more advanced search tools, please see the Catholic News Archive (exernal link). The Catholic News Archive, part of the Catholic Research Resources Alliance, used the Merton Center's collection of scans from 1933 through 1942.
