The photographs were not by Thomas Merton, and no photographer is cited. The orignals are prints except the last nine with an "n" in its call number.

Abbey of Our Lady of the Holy Trinity (active 1947-2017): rounded roof structure in flat valley, trees in distance with snow-capped mountains in background. On back: “Trappist Monastery at Ogden, Utah.” [Monastery was nearer to Huntsville, Utah.] Blue cropping marks in margin.
